Cloud Classic

The Banana Home Cloud Classic: our cloud couch

The Cloud Classic is Banana Home's deep, down-filled modular sofa: the cloud couch we have sold in Australia since 2021. Every piece is a generous 110 × 110 cm module with a 74 cm deep seat, so there's room to sit cross-legged, curl up, or lie right across a pit layout.

Build it your way

The whole range is made from three pieces: the corner module (with one arm), the armless module and the ottoman. Hidden clips under each module hold them together, and you can rearrange or add pieces at any time. Popular layouts include the 2-piece (220 × 110 cm), the 3-piece with ottoman, the 4-piece with ottoman (330 × 220 cm) and the 6-piece pit sectional, a big-bed layout families love for movie nights.

What's inside

• Seat cushions filled with 70% RDS-certified down and 30% blown polyester fibre, over high-density HD32 CertiPUR-US foam
• Kiln-dried larch hardwood frame, double-dowelled and corner-blocked, on 12-gauge steel sinuous springs
• Removable, replaceable covers for every part, in OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabric
• Seat height 44 cm, overall height 88 cm, arm height about 60 cm

Honest care notes

Down-filled cushions need regular fluffing to keep their shape; that's part of owning a cloud couch. Polyester covers can be machine washed on a delicate setting; linen covers should be hand washed or dry cleaned. Replacement covers and cushions are sold separately for every module, so a spill or a change of style never means a new sofa.
